Comment on Louise Snidal's post

I wonder how much research has been done to explore levels of stress experienced as technology use has increased?
It is amazing how much technology we use everyday and how reliant we have become on it without even realizing it. This week, I accidently had my cell phone on silent for an entire day. Yes I missed phone calls and text messages, but amazingly the world did not end :) I really think that "shutting down" is an important thing to do sometimes. We did not have a lot of this technology around 10+ years ago and really, we managed just fine. Therefore, we should be able to manage shutting down for a few hours each day, or at least a few hours each week.
